The knifes we produce are made of selected steel with international quality that produce speciality for knife; the steels are O1 type, D2 type, 440C type, ATS-34 type and Damascus type. The type of steel used will be indicated in body of knife, except that made from Damascus steel because it will be known from character of knife.
Type of steel we use in making the knife is depend on order of consumers; however, the standard steel we used in daily production is D2 type. The steels mentioned above are satisfly the Standard of AISI (American Iron Standard Institute). The hardness of knives we produce after hardening is ranged from 58 to 60 Hrc (Rockwell standard).
The characters of steels mentioned above are as followings:
O1 Tool Steel
- It is and excellent steel with higt carbon and low chrome contens and 65 Hrc maximum hardness. However, the steel is vulnerable to rust; so it required extra maintenance. Its composition is C=0.95% ; Si=0.25% ; Mn=1.10% ;
Cr=0.55% ; V=0.10% ; W=0.55%
- D2 Tool Steel
- It is and excellent steel with higt carbon and higt chrome contents and 64 Hrc maximum hardness. Although it resistant enough to rush, it is not free from the rust however, these materials are desired by consumers because its higt hardness so it is not easy to be dull and easily re-sharpen. Its composition is C=1.55% ; Si=0.25% ; Mn=0.35% ;
Cr=11.8% ; Mo=0.80% ; V=0.95%

- 440C Stainless
Steel
- It is and a stainless steel with higt enogh carbon and higt chrome contents and 60 Hrc maximum hardness. It resistant to rust, but if it has dull, it is rather difficult to re-sharpen. Its chemical composition is C=1.05% ; Si=0.40%
; Mn=0.40% ; Cr=17.0% ; Mo=0.50%

- ATS-34
Stainless Steel
- Currently, it is the most excellent steel with higt carbon and higt chrome contents and 60 to 61 Hrc maximum hardness and free from rust. It is very recommended for knife manufacturer althougt it is not so easy to be re-sharpen. Its chemical composition is
C=1.03% ; Si=0.25% ; Mn=0.41% ; Cr=13.74%
; Mo=3.56% ; P=0.026% ; S=0.001%

- Damascus Steel
- It is a type of steel that produced through dying of two layer Iron with Nickel with different color and then folded and re-died repeatedly up to hundreds of folding to obtain intended pattern. This material used by emphasizing on arts and pattern formed on the steel.
